Harness the power of turmeric's strong anti-inflammatory properties with my lemon ginger turmeric dressing. It's paleo, vegan, gluten free, and Whole 30 friendly.
Ah, turmeric. Turmeric is quite the health food darling.
In fact, one of the most popular recipes on Tasting Page is my anti-inflammatory lemon turmeric tonic.
I go deep into many of turmeric's wonderful health benefits in that post if you want to read more about why you might want more turmeric in your life.
And yes you can use turmeric supplements but why not eat it in its real, whole food state like in this lemon ginger turmeric dressing.
I was actually getting bored with my usual go-to salad dressings.
I've done a vegan caesar dressing and an avocado cilantro lime dressing, and don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing them. They're pretty darn tasty, but I was looking for some bolder flavor components.
Turmeric is one bold superfood. It's been shown to help with cancer prevention, fat metabolism, inflammation, liver detoxification, and the list goes on.
And of course, turmeric has a super bold taste. That's why it needs a little taming with the citrus and lemon. Olive oil makes the dairy free dressing rich and creamy, and garlic and ginger add even more punch.
I love this lemon ginger turmeric dressing on salad, but it's also good drizzled over steamed or roasted vegetables. You can even throw it on top of your favorite protein.
Enjoy some more turmeric love with this lemon ginger dressing!
