Daily Greens Fresh Juices
/Daily Greens juices make it easy to get your daily dose of vegetables without any added sugars or fillers. The ingredients are organic and the taste is delicious.
Sometimes eating healthy can take some time. It's one thing to make sure you can get to the grocery store to stock up on healthy foods for your house, but then there's the other step of doing all of the healthy food prep. It can be all too easy to opt out and grab something less nutritious when you're short on time. That's where a Daily Greens juice can come in handy.
I like to make a juice or smoothie every morning to get my day started with some great nutrients. Loading up with a big stash of vitamins first thing gives me a good base for whatever lays ahead. Juicing though, means I need to have gone to the farmer's market or grocery store. And if you're a juicer like me, it also means that your refrigerator looks like an over-crowded jungle with enormous bunches of kale, romaine and spinach sprouting out from everywhere. It can get costly too buying all of that produce, and again, if there's no time to shop for all that, there's no juice.
So I was really happy to try Daily Greens’ line of juices. Their juices are USDA Organic certified, non-GMO, and Kosher. Not only that, but there's a whopping 4.5 pounds of produce in each 12 ounce bottle, which equates to 7 servings of veggies. My guess is you're not pulling that many nutrients into your on-the-go Tuesday breakfast.
I also love that Daily Greens works with family owned farms and all of their local organic ingredients. The juice is cold pressed and not pasteurized so as not to lose any precious nutrients. There's no added sugar, preservatives or artificial flavoring. They even recycle all of their juice remnants to feed the soil and start the process again. How great is that?
The best part is the taste. All 8 flavors are really well balanced and refreshing. The Harmony: Sweet Greens comes chock full of celery and kale, and is lightened with sweet pear, crisp apple, lemon, fennel and ginger. I also like that they have a straight up green formula with Purity: Pure & Simple Greens filled with cucumber, celery, broccoli, parsley, basil and lemon. They even have a blend with 2 billion CFU of gut-friendly probiotics. That's a nice one-two punch.
I love drinking one when I wake up or right after going to the gym. If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll throw one of the juices in the blender with chia seeds, frozen fruit or nuts and turn it into a thicker smoothie, but there's no need. It tastes great as is and will keep you going for a while.
You don't need to look for a special store to find Daily Greens. The juices are sold in supermarkets like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Costco and Target. And in case you're not sold yet, the founder had and recovered from cancer, donates a portion of the proceeds to support young women who are fighting breast cancer. That's a win-win for everyone.
